Keedraig

Well my boss’s wife coined a new name for Keegan and Padraig.  She did this not on purpose, but I kind of like it.  So this post we will use Keedraig instead of writing out both boys names, genius I say!

So Friday Keedraig will be 8 months old, yes can you believe that because I can't!  Where has the time gone, we have really grown as a family in these past 8 months life as we knew it is gone and a new normal has emerged. 

Keegan is really coming out of his shell and is crawling, sitting up, chatting, and weighs almost as much as his younger but bigger brother.  Padraig is also crawling, sitting rolling, etc.  Keedraig love to feed themselves puffs and even try to take the spoon away to feed themselves that way too.  They are really quite amazing litte guys.  I have some video I will try to post of them talking to each other.  They are so dang cute when they do the 'twin talk.'  Yes they LOVE each other and that is so obvious.

Chuck was gone this past week in eastern Oregon with the Air Force, so I was home and due to a large snow storm I had both my parents at home with us most of the time and my mom there the whole time.  It was a really a huge help.  We got grandma and grandpa all trained up for when Chuck and I slip away to Vegas in May.  She has bath time down, which I don't know if I told you guys yet or not, but Keedraig are doing big boy baths now.  They sit up in the bathtub and play, oh it's so much better for us and oh so fun for them! 

We had our good friend Lisa take our photos on Sunday so I will post a few of those here too so you can see how big the boys are, oh yea and how dang cute they are!!!

Christmas and on into the New Year

Paddy and Keegan had a wonderful 1st Christmas.  Who would have thought they would be so much fun.  They turned 7months on the 27th of December and these two little guys are FUN! 

We had Christmas in Seattle this year at my Grandpa and Grandma's house. We got there on Friday night and we had a traditional Lefsa party with lots of friends.  It was very fun.  Then Saturday my mom watched the boys as we went to the Seahawk game.  Then Christmas day was full of lots of unwrapping fun, the boys had several presents, but our family at our request kept it low key and mainly put money towards the boys college FUNd, as Kelly calls it! 

Padraig is sitting up like a champ and in the past week Keegan is doing the same.  Both boys are just so much fun and so full of smiles.  Paddy likes his binky, he is always finding them and putting them in his mouth.  Sometimes he will have one in his mouth, and see one in his brother's mouth, get excited take the one from his brother so he has a back up. Luckily Keegan isn't as attached to them. 

Keegan is my cuddle boy, he is always in motion, but if he stops he likes to rest his head on your shoulder.  It's definitely sweet and I love it!  Paddy only does this if he is tired.  He is always on the go as well, but at times can be just a little more chill.  They both are still a perfect blend of Chuck and Sven. ;-)

Well the new year started out with a bang, our nanny quit first day back.  This was quite a set back as it took us 2 months to hire her, but with the help of my friends and family within less than a day we had a replacement.  Ashley is working out great so far.  She is a 20 year old who is a good family friend of my good friend Sue.  Thank you to everyone who had to listen to me 'vent' (B**CH) about that!  Oh and while I'm at it to add on to our stressful week, we found out that Allie had skin cancer.  We are hoping that we can keep her feeling as good as possible until we can't.  So 2012 is the year of Allie, spoiled she will be!

So with that, I will try to update our blog as regularly as I can, these two little cute boys are changing and growing every day!!!
